31st August for 3 nights - Temporary Road Closure Notice B3098 (Part) Erlestoke and Cheverell Magna

Temporary Closure of: B3098 (Part), Erlestoke and Cheverell Magna (TTRO 7403) 

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic: B3098 (Part), Erlestoke and Cheverell Magna; from a point outside Church of the Holy Saviour to its junction with Victoria Park. 

To enable: BT to carry out new customer connection. 

Alternative diversion route for high sided vehicles: via B3098 (unaffected length), C40, A360, A361, A350, Bitham Park, B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa. 

Alternative route for all other vehicles: via B3098 (unaffected length), A360, A361, A350, Bitham Park, B3098 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. 

This Order will come into operation on 31 August 2021 and the closure will be required between the hours of 21:00 and 06:00 for 3 days It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
